JOIN USAiling Kannada actor and Housing Minister M H Ambarish is said to be recovering at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore and is likely to be completely taken off ventilator by Tuesday.
Doctors from Vikram Hospital, who returned to the City on Monday after accompanying the actor to Singapore, confirmed that his health had improved. They, however, said he would be put on breathing rehabilitation thereafter.
The hospital’s spokesperson said Ambarish was keeping well and the same treatment was being continued. “He is completely stable and the respiratory infection is subsiding,” said Dr K S Satish, pulmonologist at Vikram Hospital. “He is likely to be brought back in about 10 days.”
Meanwhile, sources in the hospital said it was the family’s decision to move him abroad as doctors had advised that the number of visitors be restricted, which was not possible in Bangalore.
