Magan Singh-ward Forest Ranger, ridden by Dhanu Singh, claimed top honours in the Royal Calcutta Turf Club Cup over 1400 metres, the feature event of the races held here on Tuesday.
Forest Ranger finished three and a half lengths ahead of Sweet Water while favourite Male Superior ended in third position, a further three and a quarter lengths behind. Gold Spark finished in fourth spot.
