AIDS awareness

Close on the heels of a workshop for PG students on Automation and Career Advancement in Life Science, and a management seminar on Vision for Excellence, The Oxford College of Science organised a programme on AIDS awareness on December 1 in commemoration of World Aids Day. The lecture programme by Giridhar Upadhyaya, conducted by ‘The Oxford Society of  microbiologists’, aimed at creating awareness about the cause and prevention of the disease. Upadhyaya, an active member of NACO, held forth on the commonly prevalent myths about HIV. Their forthcoming programmes are national-level fests of life sciences and management in the month of March.

The Oxford Colleges of Science, Management, Arts and Law are now relocated to their new campus at HSR Layout with state-of-the-art infrastructure and the institutions have been abuzz with activities.
