Cong leaders challenged to prove charges

 Kodagu district BJP spokesperson Subrahmanya Upadhyaya has said that he will step down from his post, if the Congress leaders prove that he had received title deeds for the regularisation of land under Akrama Sakrama.

Addressing media persons, here, he admitted that he had applied for the regularisation of land under ‘Akrama -Sakrama’ in Chembu village. But, he denied of receiving title deeds.


According to the rules, those who possess less than five acres of land can apply for the regularisation of land.

“The Akrama Sakrama committee had sanctioned the land. But it was not in my name,” he said. Madikeri Taluk BJP President Taloor Kishor Kumar, Madikeri BJP City Unit President Mahesh Jaini, Chief Secretary Balachandra Kalagi were present.
