<p> <br />Addressing a news conference on Wednesday, Kadri Kambla Samiti President B Nagaraj Shetty informed that Kesaru gadde ota, tug of war, Thappangai competitions will be held besides Kambla.<br /><br />Shetty said that Kalkura Prathishtana, Ganesh Shipping agency, Land Links and Lions Club have joined hands with the Samiti. He said that the State-level Kesaru Gadde ota will be inaugurated at 8.30 am by Sri Devi Education Trust Chairman A Sadananda Shetty while IGP (Western range) Gopal B Hosur will preside. <br /><br />MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will inaugurate the tug of war competition at 10 am while Canara Bank Deputy General Manager K S Balachandra Rao will preside. District-in-Charge Minister will inaugurate the Thappangai competition. Kannada Sahithya Parishat former state president Harikrishna Punaroor will inaugurate the ‘otada kona’ competition at 1 pm.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Vishwanatha Kadri Kambla will be honoured with ‘Guthu Award’ on the occasion.<br />Samiti Working President Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Convener Kadri Navaneeth Shetty among others were present on the occasion.<br /></p>
