Man arrested for posting obscene pix of air hostesses on blog

The accused Jitender Singh Rana (30), a Delhi-based trader who was arrested on Wednesday, allegedly made the objectionable photos by morphing and then sent it to friends of the air hostesses on Orkut, besides posting them on a blog "to teach them a lesson for not resolving a dispute with him."
Rana, a graduate in hotel management, is married and has a child. He resides in Rohini Sector-3.

"He came in contact with the two women through a common friend. In February-March, 2009 those women had a dispute with him. He tried to resolve it among them but could not succeed," a senior police official said.
Rana then allegedly downloaded their photos from their account in another social networking site and morphed the photographs by putting their faces on the objectionable photograph downloaded from internet.

The women approached police after their friends informed about receipt of their obscene pictures. A case was registered by the Special Cell under the Information Technology (IT) Act-67 upon their complaint.

According to the official, Rana allegedly used two email accounts registered with gmail to circulate these photos. The pictures were e-mailed to the women's friends list in their Orkut accounts.
