Controversial former JD(U) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sabir Ali is not ready to give  up and have threatened to organise a protest by his wife at the residence of BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi if he does not come out with evidences of his alleged connections with Yasin Bhatkal, the chief of terror outfit Indian Mujahideen or apologise.

The drama which has started unfolding with his induction into the BJP and almost immediate reversal of the decision may exhibit some more scenes.

He along with his wife on Sunday convened a press conference and declared that the wife would sit in Dharana in front of Naqvi’s residence if he does not come out with an evidence to substantiate his allegations or apologise. “I am giving him (Naqvi) 24 hours to tender an apology or I will sit on dharna outside his house,” said Ali's wife Yasmin . They claimed that the allegations has adversely affected the reputation of the family.

“I am ready to hang myself if Naqvi can prove my relations to any terrorist,” said Ali.

He demanded a written apology and threatened to sue the BJP leader. Ali was expelled from JD(U) for praising Modi and inducted into BJP soon after. However, senior leader Naqvi resented it in a tweet and alleged Ali’s relationship with terrorist Bhatkal and wondered whether Dawood would be next to be inducted into the party.
