Credai joins voter awareness drive

This election season expect some designer billboards and hoardings that will spur you to exercise your franchise.

Between April 4 and 5, citizens will witness a “bold and impactful” campaign with thought-provoking questions about what lies ahead for India.

The insightful messages on voter awareness and the significance of exercising the franchise will be displayed on over 90 billboards.

The real estate firms, which have been promoting their housing and commercial projects across the City, have come together to launch a two-week long campaign, “You Vote. You Decide.”

Bangalore Chapter of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (Credai), the apex body for real estate developers in India, has partnered with City-based designer Tania Singh Khosla to help create a visual impact.

“Design has immense power to impact change. By transforming the billboards through this bold and thought-provoking campaign, the attempt is to prod people to take notice, to think and then” hopefully, to act,” a source in Credai said.

Sharing her thoughts on how the campaign took form, Khosla said: “In response to the fervor of the current election, the clutter of political debate and character bashing, our attempt was to make people sit and take notice of a simple and very powerful thought - we are all deeply concerned about the future of India, our future.”

She further said that each of person in this country is empowered enough to decide the  future of the nation through the voice of our vote.

“We should make it a point to celebrate this freedom – it is a privilege,” she said.
