MA in Public Policy

TERI University is conducting an MA programme in Public Policy and Sustainable development. 

Graduates with a minimum experience of five years in any of the following sectors: government, regulatory bodies, industry, research/academic institutions, NGOs and donor/consultant organizations are eligible.

University Cork College, Ireland

It offers a one-year full-time/two-year part-time MSc in bioinformatics and computational biology. 

The course is promoted as a right mix of theoretical and practical knowledge. 

Students who have a first degree in biological science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering or related disciplines are preferred.

Education camps

Design Resources is organising Architects camps and scientists camp. 

The architects camp will cover drawing equipment applications, quick drawing and sketching, scaled 2D and 3D drawings, wood working and tools used, simple landscape drawings and models. 

The scientist camp comprises practical model construction of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and electronics. 

The course starts on 15th April and concludes on May 30.

Computational Biology

It offers a 11-month MPhil in computational biology. 

The course is aimed at introducing students to bioinformatics and other quantitative aspects of modern biology and medicine. 

It is intended both for those whose first degree is in biology, and for mathematicians, computer scientists and others wishing to learn about the subject to prepare for a PhD or a career in the industry.

NUS, Singapore

Faculty of Science offers a four-year multi-disciplinary BSc hons in computational biology. 

The programme involves participation of 11 departments of the University, namely Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Applied Probability, Computer Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physiology and Pharmacology.

Biological sciences

The Department of Biological Sciences offers an MSc in computational biology. 

Graduates of biological sciences, computing or related disciplines, with at least a second class can apply. 

Modules you would study include Structural biology, IT systems Engineering, Biostatistics and bioinformatics.

Queen’s University

The School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences offers a one-year full-time MSc in computational biology. 

Modules you would study include Genomics and genetics, Analysis of gene expression, Scientific programming and Statistical computing, Algorithmic biology, Statistical biology and Bioimaging informatics. 

You would also need to complete a research project.

It offers a one-year full-time MSc in computational biology. 
The programme is designed for those who have a base in biological sciences or physical sciences like computer science, maths, physics and engineering.
