JOIN USTwo sisters, Stella D’Mello and Mary D’Mello, and cable operator Chandrashekar were arrested by Kodigehalli Police for allegedly assaulting their neighbour.
Raju Khurana, a resident of Sterling Park Apartment, alleged that he was stabbed and beaten up by the trio on April 9, while he was going downstairs in the apartment’s lift, following which he sustained injuries on his head and limb.
The sisters and their neighbour were not on good terms, DCP (North-East) T R Suresh said, adding the CCTV footage from the apartment has revealed the attack on Khurana.
4 held for planning theft
Four people, who were planning to assault and rob people near Tavarekere, Suddguntepalya, under the Mico Layout police limits, were arrested by the CCB police on Friday. Mruthyunjaya, 25, Nitin Kumar, 20, Santosh Kumar, 20, and Manoj Kumar, 23, were arrested and assault weapons and an autorickshaw were seized from them.
