Meet on coal based Nagarjuna power plant today

 
Speaking to the media persons here on Friday, Working Committee President Vijaya Kumar Hegde informed that the discussion will throw light on the probable potentialities and impact of the thermal power plant. The outcome will be unanimously adopted by the participants as final decision concerning the thermal plant. The participants are free to put up their views. The positive as well as negative impacts will be discussed, he said.

Hegde said that the meet will highlight the profits gained through the 108-year-old Jog and Shivanasamudra power projects in contrast to the losses incurred through Bellary and Raichur thermal power projects.

Madhukar Mudardi from Sri Rama Sene, Herrick Vas from Brahmavar Christian Youth Association, Husein Kodibengre from Jamaat-E-Islami Youth Wing district Unit and others were present at the press meet.
