Netizens hook onto YouTube during poll time

Just as the Lok Sabha Elections- 2014 is coming to an end, netizens do not want to lose out on any opportunity to watch videos of political campaigns.

The popular social site- YouTube is getting a large number of hits to watch top ten political videos of March 2014.

According to the report released by YouTube for the Top Ten Political Videos for March 2014, the most popular video is the talk between Arvind Kejriwal and Punya Prasun Bajpai, Executive Editor and Anchor of Aaj Tak News Channel, followed by Kejriwal spoof video titled Official Dukhdarshan News Tragidwal Expose 1080.

Site spokesperson said that netizens were watching the latest political news stories, election speeches, political spoofs and interviews of politicians in large numbers.

The details shared and the humour attached to the clips have attracted a lot of attention across all sections of society. People, irrespective of their age and profession, are seen watching the videos. They also added that these videos have been watched across Pan India.

However the team was unable to disseminate any more details about the number of hits, demography and days when viewed the most.
