Raichur draw Mysore

On the final day of the two-day encounter on Thursday, Raichur Zone were restricted to 177 for seven in their 75 overs in reply to Mysore’s 291 for nine, thereby falling behind by 114 runs. Jadhav made 73 and Bhandari contributed 70.

Mysore used the remaining period for batting practice, coasting to 140 without loss in their second innings when the game was called off. S Pradeep remained unbeaten on 62 while HR Kiran made 67 not out.

Sahil shines

Sahil took six for 33 as Presidency School, Nandini Layout crushed Hyderabad Public School by 84 runs in the Polly Umrigar Trophy under-16 inter-school tournament.
At the RWF grounds, Presidency made 208 all out on the back on Pavan’s 76. In reply, HPS were rolled over for just 124.
