South United posted a 2-1 win over Jawahar Union in their BDFA Super Division encounter on Thursday.

South United took the lead through Sunil in the 18th minute courtesy of a freekick. Jawahar were never really in the game and deservedly went down further when substitute Rajapandi scored in the 77th minute.

Jawahar did manage to get one back through Desai in the 89th minute but it was too little too late.

Result:

A Division: LRDE: 3 (Roy 49th, Saravana Lokesh 65th, Suresh Babu 70th) bt SAI: 2 (Sudershan 18th, 33rd).
