Last Updated 13 December 2009, 17:49 IST

With the crisis over Telengana continuing, 392 services including Airavata and Rajahamsa remained cancelled, according to KSRTC officials. As a result of the suspension, the State-run corporation is incurring a revenue loss of Rs 35 to Rs 40 lakh per day.

The suspended services include those to Hyderabad and Tirupati. However, the North East Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NEKRTC) is operating services from Gulbarga to Hyderabad, Kurnool and Srisailam and all districts in Telangana.

Meanwhile, services of the Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) to Bangalore also continues to remain suspended. “We are in constant touch with the AP police and APSRTC officials and will resume bus services after normalcy is restored and law and order situation improves,” said KSRTC sources.
