Two candidates from Dharwad and one from Hubli have cleared the exam.

His father Ramappa passed away years ago and mother Mallavva is into farming.
Mallavva wanted her son to excel in academics and after doing that, Dyamappa wanted to go higher up the ladder. Not satisfied with the ranking, he said he would continue his efforts to get into IAS or IPS and prepare for examinations again.

Laxman Nimbaragi from Hubli has secured 104th rank.
