JOIN USA 28-year-old person was hacked to death, in full public glare, by a gang of around 12 people in Wilson Garden police limits on Sunday night.
The victim was identified as Srinivas alias Seena, a resident of Wilson Garden.
According to the police, he was into car dealing and was involved in an assault case in Wilson Garden.
A gang of a dozen men chased Seena and assaulted him with lethal weapons near a bar on Wilson Garden 7th cross. A seriously injured Srinivas was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead, said the police.
An old rivalry led to the murder as he was hacked by rival gang members.
There are definite leads and the police would arrest assailants soon, said Assistant Commissioner of Police (Halasuru Gate) Siddaramaiah.
