Last Updated 17 June 2014, 19:19 IST

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be chairing the Congress legislature party meeting on June 18 in Vidhana Soudha.

The meeting, unlike in the past, is scheduled to be held from morning 9 am till evening. Usually the CLP meetings are held for a couple of hours. But on Wednesday, it is scheduled to be held till evening.

Many MLAs and MLCs are looking for an opportunity to speak their mind. A section of legislators has already been vocal when it came to commenting on the functioning style of Siddaramaiah government.

The meeting will see the attendance of the Karnataka Pradesh Congeess Committee  president and newly elected MLC, G Parameshwara. The meeting was first scheduled for June 5, but could not be held as the chief minister and the KPCC president were in New Delhi on that day.

It was put off to June 18, presuming that there would be elections to the Rajya Sabha and the Legislative Council, on June 19. However, the contestants were elected unopposed in the elections.
