The company said Global Tech Park and Swiss Smile Holdings each would hold 50 per cent stake in the venture. The company is setting  up a dental care clinic in Koramangala with an investment of US$3 million which will commence operations in January. It is planning to set up ten such facilities in the country in the next three years in locations like Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chandigarh, NCR, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Pune with an investment of US$25 million. These clinics will provide multi-speciality dental care under one roof under the guidance of internationally acclaimed and trained dental specialists at affordable prices, the company claimed.

In an interaction with Deccan Herald, Swiss Smile Holdings Member of Board Clifford Zur Nieden said “There is tremendous potential here as the market in India for dental services stands at US$700 to $900 million. Also, India has the fastest growing market globally with an annual growth rate of 10 per cent and lacks an organised professional outfit.”

On plans for India , Swiss Smile Dental Clinics India CEO & Director of Clinical Operations Dr Sathya Kallur said the company aims at contributing to the Indian medical tourism industry which is expected to experience an annual growth rate of 30 per cent by offering quality services at reasonable prices.
