Protest rally by Youth Congress turns sour

Many youth had gathered at the Government Boys’ College in the City at 11.30 am.
However, when the protesters were about to march Circle Inspector Renuka Prasad demanded permission letter obtained either from Deputy Commissioner or tahsildar to take out a rally.

He directed the protesters not to raise slogans against any political party and displaying symbols of any party.

Tension prevailed for sometime as police and protesters were at loggerheads. The police personnel later dispersed a group of young people leaving very few youth congress leaders to take part in the rally.

After taking out a protest rally in the City, the protesters submitted a memorandum to Additional Deputy Commissioner S N Gxangadhariah seeking the expulsion of Reddy brothers.

B V Anand Kumar, Tyagaraj, Akbar, Javed, Rajesh Singh, Praveen Kumar and others took part.
