JOIN USSkipper Kunal Kapoor slammed an unbeaten 151 (174b, 16x4, 4x6) to take President’s XI to a commanding 385/6 against Vice-President’s XI on the first day of the Safi Darashah Trophy at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Saturday.
Kunal’s well paced knock was supported by Mayank Agarwal (66) and KC Avinash (70). Skipper Amit Verma was the pick of the bowlers for Vice-President’s as he claimed four wickets while conceding 45 runs.
In the other match, Combined City XI were sitting pretty with a score of 324/3 in 80 overs against Bangalore Zone on day one at the RWF ground, before bad light stopped play.
KB Pawan top scored with an unbeaten 167 (17x4, 4x6). Liyan Khan sparkled with 100 (14x4,2x6).

Jawahars retain title
Jawahar Sports Club retained title as they emerged winners in the KSCA Group I, under-16 inter-club tournament for I, II and III division teams.
Jawahars won the final against Jawans Cricket Club on the basis of first innings lead.
Jawahars were all out for 244 in their first innings and then bowled out Jawans for 214 to take a lead of 30 runs.
