Govt inaction upsets Lokayukta

The Lokayukta was reacting to the CM’s assurance to the Governor that the government will look into the Lokayukta report and take action against illegal mining. Governor H R Bhardwaj had recently written a strong letter to the CM drawing his attention to the issue. About his second report on illegal mining, justice Hegde said he will submit it to the government shortly. However, he said, it will not be related to the first report.
