Cong to put govt on mat on mining, relief lapses

At a Congress Legislature Party meeting on Sunday evening, the party resolved to expose the misdeeds of the government. "The government has failed on all fronts. It has betrayed the farmers by failing to keep the promises made. The CM talks of development but in reality devotes all his time to attend to the internal bickerings in his party", Siddaramaiah alleged.
He reiterated that there was no move by the Congress to topple the State Government.

Earlier in the day, JD(S) Floor Leader in the Assembly H D Revanna met Siddaramaiah.
Revanna said they discussed modalities to take on the government as an united Opposition in the session.
