Kassia wants faster policy implementation

Describing the proposed industrial policy of the state government as seemingly “very well drafted”, small industry body Kassia said on Friday that the experience of the industry has been that implementation of such policies does not take place at the intended pace.

Kassia President C M Rajamane said that the Aerospace Policy which was released on February 6, 2013 under which stamp duty concession of 75 per cent is awarded to companies in the space, the government order to the effect has not reached the Jala sub-registration office from the revenue department even after 5 months after the order was issued.

Rajamane  wanted the government to notify an order on the draft industrial policy’s proposal to abolish trade license to all industries, which is a long pending demand of MSMEs.
