Chikkaraju of Lakshmipura in Vidyaranyapura has alleged that his grandmother Muniyamma (60) had died after being admitted to Martha's Clinic on Hesarghatta Main Road allegedly due to the "wrong administration" of some injections to her on Saturday evening. "We took her to the clinic after she complained of headache. Dr Jayanthi gave her four injections of some unknown medicine besides giving glucose. Moments later, she died," Chikkaraju told Deccan Herald.
He also alleged that Dr Jayanthi did not have any medical qualifications and three deaths under similar circumstances had been reported at her clinic in the last one year.
