Maharashtra ride on Sagar brace


Bedekar gave Maharashtra the lead in the sixth minute before Jayaesh Rane made it 2-0 three minutes later. Tripura fought back through Debraj Jamatia, who reduced the margin in the 13th minute, and then Ashadan Jamatia netted the equaliser in the 27th.

Maharashtra went ahead again through Bedekar in injury time of the first half and they could finally breathe easy when Sagar Khanvilkar returned their two-goal cushion in the 73rd minute to round off the scoring.
