JOIN USIn view of annual St Mary’s feast and procession on Friday, the traffic police have imposed restrictions on parking and vehicular movement in and around Shivanjinagar.
Entry of vehicles has been barred from Meenakshi Koil Street on Jyothi Cafe Circle towards Russel Market and vice versa from 12 noon onwards; from Broadway Road junction to Cockburn Road towards Russel Market and vice-versa; from Dharmaraja Koil Street junction to Old Poor House Road towards Russel Market and Taj Hotel Circle; from BRV junction on Cubbon Road towards Shivajinagar bus stand; from Balekundri Circle towards Shivajinagar bus stand.
Parking will be restricted at the following locations: in and around Russell Market, Broadway Road, Meenakshi Koil Street, Central Street, Shivaji Road, Cunningham Road, between Balekundry Circle and Chandrika Hotel junction, Union Street, Infantry Road, Cubbon Road, Hospital Road, Lady Curzon Road, VSN Road, Plain Street, MG Road, Brigade Road.
Parking will be provided at Kamaraj Road parking lot opposite Army School, Main Guard Cross Road opposite Safina Plaza, inside Cubbon Park, Jasma Bhavan Road, RBANMS Grounds and Dickenson Road.
Temporary bus stops
Temporary bus stops for BMTC buses have been provided at four places.
These restrictions will be in force from 12 pm to 10 pm on Friday.
