Petitioners had challenged the order to conduct a survey on December 28 on their leased area following a complaint from MSPL, another mining company stating that the men and machinery of the petitioners were found in their leased areas.
The petitioners who have their mining lease upto 2017 have submitted that the order by DMS is without jurisdiction and hence sought to stay the order. Justice K L Manjunath has stayed the order.
