Syndicate Bank staff body keen to push Jan Dhan Yojana

 In an effort to push for the success of ‘Jan Dhan’ Yojana within the bank, officials of the Syndicate Bank Staff Association (SBSA) emphasised the need for adequate and proper infrastructure within the bank to ensure proper implementation of the scheme. 

Acknowledging the officials demand, Union Minister for Railways, D V Sadananda Gowda on Saturday said, “Although this union has made a lot of progress I know that there are many issues that require attention. These issues can be raised with me and I in turn will bring this to the attention of the Finance Minister. Solving these problems is the need of the hour and the government is committed to this.”

The association said in a statement, that the conference, scheduled  to be held from September 20-21, would chalk out plans to ensure the success of the Yojana in the bank.
