Programme for innovators

Stanford Graduate School of Business has invited applications for Stanford Ignite-Bangalore. The 11-week certificate programme is aimed at technical professional, innovators and entrepreneurs with no previous with no previous graduate management education. Up to 60 high-potential individuals will be admitted into the programme. Prospective applicants for the March 6 to May 24, 2015 programme can apply online by October 7, 2014 
Scholarships for professional courses

The Foundation for Excellence will assist students for studies in professional courses leading to degrees in engineering, technology or medicine. First-year students of BE, BTech and MBBS who should have passed class 12 not earlier than 2012, with minimum of 70 per cent marks are eligible. National scholarship scheme

The Maulana Azad national scholarship is given to girl students belonging to minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Parsis, Jain). Those who have scored a minimum of 55 per cent marks in Class X and are studying in Class XI (in all subjects) can apply. Eligibility: Applicants must have confirmed admission in Class XI and family income should be less than Rs 1 lakh. Application has to be submitted by post, through the school. Supercomputing facility

A training programme on Supercomputing Facility for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology will be held at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi from October 6 to 11.
