They are simple yet elegant. The clothes at Allen Solly include some great combinations of silhouette, colour and fabric — but their unique selling proposition remains the fact that each item is easy-to-wear, upbeat and fashion-forward. At Allen Solly you find multiple textures on shirts with pleasing and bright colours forming the core of the collection. The brand has introduced the lightest shirts that are crafted using giza cotton yarn.

Talking specifically about the latest collection, Alok Upreti, product head, Allen Solly says, “The shirts are bright, colourful with very sharp edges. It is much lighter than the other available shirts in the market. It is this lightness that makes the collection our unique selling proposition this season.”  The shirts have been carefully designed and cut to reflect the lifestyle of electric and edgy young men.

The formal shirts come in vertical stripes and checks. “Checks have always been in vogue when it comes to formal wear. The collection has bold and sharp checks that are attractive. The mix and match styling make the shirt edgy and interesting,” explains Alok.
The shirts that fall under that latest collection are soft, light with a lot of care given to detailing and design. “The line is for those aged between 21 years and 30 years. The best thing about these shirts is that they  can be worn to work and if tweaked a little and it can be worn to a party as well,” he adds.

The shirts have an unmistakable sheen about them. They come in bright colours of red, green, yellow and black. Talking about the style and the designs in general, Alok says, “The designs are always fresh, new and based on the current fashion trends. We believe in creating fashion rather than following it. The cuts are sharp and minimalistic.”

Alok further points out that the shoes should always be matched with the belts. “It’s an unsaid rule that the belt tone should always go with the shoe tone,” he says. Check shirts can be matched with chinos, formals and even denims. “You could change your looks depending on the occasion,” he signs off.
