The son of a top police officer in Jammu and Kashmir has posted stunning pictures on Facebook and Instagram exposing his father’s lavish lifestyle and abuse of his official position.

The pictures with captions, posted by Tony Beigh son of Shakeel Beigh, Deputy Inspector General (DIG), show both father and son allegedly going overboard while enjoying the perks of being in power.

One picture posted by junior Beigh shows a man, apparently a cop, tying shoelaces of senior Beigh with a caption “Real King – My Dad! Last time he put his shoes himself was almost 15 years ago! #BossLife#Kingxx”

In another picture, Tony Beig, who goes by the name Tonybeig on Instagram, shows a Gypsy surrounded by armed policemen. “Motivation right here! Traffic and this is how police and gunmen clear traffic when my dad is on the road! #power #king #guns.” The picture has been liked by 822 people on Instagram.

There’s more. It seems the police officer can’t even hold an umbrella. A photograph shows the DIG, coming out of a building with his son, surrounded by policemen while a man is seen holding an umbrella. The caption reads: “Dad and I. #Security, #Guns and #Umbrella even when there is no sun or rain ;).”

The pictures, have gone viral on Facebook and WhatsApp, generating angry reactions. “Let’s throw up on these nauseating pictures. Utterly disgusting,” reads a comment on Facebook. “I for a second thought it is Saddam Hussain,” writes another Facebook user.

Beig, who joined J&K police as deputy superintendent was inducted into IPS some years back. He has bagged several medals for “meritorious and distinguished” services.
