CISF man, 3 others held for rly exam scam

A sub inspector of the Central Industrial Security Force and three others have been arrested for providing answer sheets to aspirants of the railway recruitment examination.

Initial investigations have revealed that all the accused had charged Rs 4 lakh from each aspirant for providing the answer sheets.

“We have arrested Vishram Meena, an under trainee SI in CISF, a property dealer Shankar Lal and two other students with the answer keys of railway examination. They had charged Rs 8 lakh from Kailash Chand to provide the answer sheet before the exam. The person later reported the matter to police,” said Ravidutt Gaur, DCP Jaipur South.  

Police said Kailash Chand had given two cheques of Rs 8 lakh to get answer sheets for his son and nephew. But the delay by the gang members in doing so raised suspicion and Kailash filed a police complaint.

Police has recovered two cheques of Rs 8 lakh from all the accused and record of students to whom the answer sheet was to be supplied.

Vishram Meena, the sub inspector was under training in Chennai training centre of CISF. He was in Rajasthan on a 10 day leave for this task. The initial investigation revealed that Meena was in constant touch with the various gangs who have been leaking the question papers of various competitive examinations.
