The BJP has said it will intensify its agitation seeking the dismissal of four “tainted” ministers in the State Cabinet and pressure Governor Vajubhai Vala in this regard.

It will launch a ‘Raj Bhavan Chalo’ protest in Bengaluru on November 20 to meet the Governor and present its demands.

BJP State president Pralhad Joshi, accompanied by former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, said the party would not rest till four ministers, Qamarul Islam, Dinesh Gundu Rao, K J George and H S Mahadev Prasad were dismissed from the Council of Ministers.

The four face charges of grabbing government land, Wakf property, etc.  After submitting a memorandum, the party will continue its agitation by besieging ministers and displaying black flags from November 21 to December 9.

The agitation will culminate in Belagavi on December 9.
