JOIN USTwo youngsters were killed when a bus belonging to a private company ploughed into their bike near Jigani link road under the Hebbagodi police station limits on Sunday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Ganesh, 23 an employee of Bill Forge company, and his friend Arvind 21. Both were residents of Yarandahalli near Anekal.
Police said the duo were on their way to Ganesh’s office when the accident occurred. Both sustained severe head injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital but doctors declared them brought dead.
Police have registered a case and seized the vehicles. A manhunt has been launched for the driver who had fled the spot after the incident, police said.
The employees of Bill Forge company staged a protest outside the Hebbagodi police station, demanding the arrest of the driver and compensation for the family of the deceased.
