BJP to picket Suvarna Soudha

The BJP, on Monday, threatened to picket the Suvarna Soudha during the winter session of the lesgislature pressing for fulfilment of its demands.

Speaking to reporters here on Monday, Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Jagadish Shettar said that development works had come to a standstill in the State and the government had been apathetic to people’s woes.

“The government have failed to check illegal mining and address problems of onion growers,” Shettar said.

Demanding that ‘tainted’ ministers should be dropped from the Cabinet, Shettar alleged that the government was having a nexus with illegal sand transporters and receiving Rs 10 crore bribe each day.
