Thieves struck at the house of a Hopcoms manager in Banashankari 3rd Stage and fled with jewellery, valuables and Rs one lakh in cash on Monday.
According to the CK Achchukattu police, the house was burgled when Devaraj and his family members were away at their native village in Channapatna.
The police said thieves entered the house through the terrace and made away with 550 gm gold jewellery, 40 kg silver ornaments, Rs one lakh in cash and an expensive wristwatch. The theft came to light when Devaraj’s son Hemanth returned home at midnight and noticed household things scattered.
