The New Year is surely going to be extremely exciting for the movie-buffs. With an array of films, be it commercial and offbeat, lined up for release, the cine-goers are surely going to have a field day (or probably a field year).
Some of these films with their attention-seeking trailers are already creating excitement amongst the public, even way before their release.
Metrolife speaks to a few youngsters to find out, which movies are they are most looking forward to watching in 2010.
Sonal Naroth, a student of mass communication in Mount Carmel College is extremely excited about watching Fantastic Mr Fox.

“My favourite director Wes Anderson is doing an animation project for the first time in Fantastic Mr Fox. Plus the movie has got great reviews around the world,” she says.
And it’s not just Hollywood movies she is excited about. “The trailers of Chance Pe Dance and Pyaar Impossible seem very intriguing so I may watch them too,” she says.
A student of MBA, Meghna Irde is waiting to watch a couple of sequels to some hit films in the New Year.
“I am waiting to watch Iron Man 2 as the first part, Iron Man, was a nice movie,” she says. “I am really looking forward to Toy Story 3, and the third part of the Twilight series, Eclipse, as well.”

Ajith, a final year student of engineering at RNSIT, is also waiting to watch Iron Man 2. “The first one was a big hit,” he reasons.
Amongst Bollywood films, he is excited about watching Veer and My Name Is Khan.
“I am waiting to watch Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol together on screen again in My Name Is Khan. I want to watch Veer because everyone is talking about it.”
Ajith wants to watch 3 Idiots too. “But that has released last year and not 2010.”
Ajith admits that he is looking forward to a realistic story and acting in a film. No wonder, he is eagerly awaiting the release of The Expendables.
“It’s got two brilliant actors — Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone,” he
exclaims.

Varsha, a student of Jyoti Nivas College, is a huge movie-buff.
“I watch a lot of movies and Friday nights are generally reserved for movies,” she admits.
Though she hasn’t
narrowed down on which movie she is eagerly waiting to watch in the New Year,
she just says, “As long as it is entertaining with good
actors, I will watch it.”
