<p>The Kiss of Love protest, scheduled to be held in Bengaluru on November 30, has now attracted opposition from the Chairperson of Karnataka State Women’s Commission, Manjula Manasa.<br /><br /></p>.<p>In a letter to the Home Minister and Director General of Police, she has dubbed the scheduled protest “uncivilised”, which is “detrimental to Indian culture.”<br /><br />When cases of sexual assault against women are on the rise, the State should be sensible enough to discourage such protests, she has said.<br /><br />“It is culture that distinguishes us from animals. It is unfortunate that kiss, which has a sanctity inside four walls, is being publicised in a distasteful manner.”</p>
