Kiss of Love very much on

Amidst raging controversy over holding the ‘Kiss of Love’ event, organisers have decided to go ahead with it as planned earlier.

Reservations expressed

Even as the police expressed reservations on the mode of protest and denied permission for the same, the event will  be held on November 30, organisers said. “We are going ahead with it. The event will be organised at Town Hall from 4 pm to 6 pm,” said Vijayan Kallil, media coordinator, Kiss of Love campaign, Bengaluru.

Meanwhile, in spite of protests from a section of the public, organisers claim that support for the campaign is increasing.

Several women's organisations and organisations fighting for the rights of sexual minorities are coming forward with their support.

A large number of people have expressed their interest to participate in the event on the social networking site Facebook, in the page dedicated to ‘Kiss of Love’.
