Samithi calls for Kodagu bandh tomorrow

It is against implementation of Kasturirangan report; Youth fest to begin on December 3 instead of December 2

To mark protest against the implementation of Kasturirangan report and the booking of false cases on protestors, Kasturirangan Varadi Virodhi Samithi has given a call for Kodagu bandh on December 2.

Responding to a query, MLA K G Bopaiah said that the day of the bandh will not be changed despite the scheduled three-day Mysore zonal-level youth festival to be organised at Gandhi Maidan in Madikeri from December 2. Let the government postpone the youth fest to the next day, Bopaiah said.

MLA Appacchu Ranjan said that the Samithi will approach the court to stop the implementation of Kasturirangan report.
