JOIN USThe City unit of the BJP Yuva Morcha on Sunday passed a resolution demanding trifurcation of Bangalore University and also decided to take up agitation against the “maladministration” in the varsity.
At an executive committee of the Morcha in Bengaluru, it was felt Bangalore University with over 600 colleges affiliated to it was not in a position to function effectively. There was an inordinate delay in conduct of examination, announcement of results and overall quality of education being imparted. The Morcha resolved that the varsity needs to be trifurcated into north, south and rural divisions. The Morcha has also sought a separate varsity for BEd colleges.
A copy of the resolution would be sent to Governor Vajubhai Vala, who is also the chancellor of all universities in the State.
