Polyclinic to come up soon

The foundation stone for a polyclinic was laid down at Hudson Lane, Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar on Sunday. The clinic will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 194.67 lakh. MP Manoj Tiwari laid down the foundation stone.

The polyclinic centre will be a two-storey building. It will comprise dispensary room, dressing and injection room, malaria room, multipurpose room, one hall and toilet for men and women on both the floors.

The North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) is working to provide good medical facilities to all residents, said Tiwari.

Medical care will be accessible at doorsteps and the corporation was working in that direction, said Mohan Prasad Bhardwaj, Standing Committee Chairperson, NDMC.
