Woman complained about Shiv Kumar, Uber ignored

When the rideshare and taxi service Uber is facing heat in India over the rape of a 27-year-old executive in Delhi by its cabbie, another woman's plight which it had ignored earlier has come to light.

Nidhi Shah, who resides in US, was in India for a week. She took a ride in the Uber cab on November 26. The cab was driven by none aother than Shiv Kumar, the alleged rapist.

Nidhi stated that Shiv Kumar constantly stared at her through the rear view mirror of the cab while driving and also grinned at her leaving her terrified.

Troubled by the ordeal Nidhi didn't delay in filing a complaint against the driver with the Uber services.

However, Uber ignored her complaint and didn't take any action against the driver. As such, Shiv Kumar continued to work with Uber rideshare.

On learning about the recent rape case in Delhi, Nidhi took to Twitter and tweeted her horrific experience with the Uber driver.
