JOIN USA quickfire century by Sarfaraz helped Chintamani Sports Association to defeat Young Challenging Cricketers by five runs in a high-scoring Super League match of the KSCA tournament for Group I (IV Division) teams here.
Powered by Sarfaraz’s 170 that came off just 154 balls including 20 fours and four sixes, Chintamani made 313 for five in 50 overs. Santosh P provided the much needed support with a timley 79 as Sarfaraz went out all guns blazing.
Young Challenging Cricketers mounted a serious challenge but their chase ended at 308 for eight. M Vinod made 52 and Sunil Chinnaswamy contributed 60.
