Ambareesh video may have been doctored: Aide

Supporters of Housing Minister M H Ambareesh seem to be in the damage-control mode, after a picture of him kissing a woman and videos showing him in a bar surfaced.

Amaravathi Chandrashekar, an aide of the actor-turned-politician, told a press conference here on Thursday that those against Ambareesh in the party had doctored the video using portions of movies in which he has acted, so as to “sully” his image.

He said that Ambareesh might have kissed a relative and too much needed not be read into it. Chandrashekar demanded that those indulging in such “anti-party activities” be expelled.
