As much as 28 acres and 19 guntas of land acquired for Bangalore Development Authority (BDA)’s Kempegowda Layout in Bengaluru has been denotified during the period between April and Septembr 2010.
Replying to a questions by Aravind Limbavali (BJP) in the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that there were no plans to denotify any more land in the layout.
A total of 4,043 acres and 27 guntas was acquired for the land initially. Of these 2,015 acres and 38 guntas has been involved in litigation leading to delay in the formation of the layout in question, the chief minister explained.
