Voters have rejected separatists: Ravi

 BJP State General Secretary and MLA C T Ravi has said that the election results in Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir proved that voters were craving for a change. The BJP has made considerable progress.

Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday, he said that it is clear from the results that people have rejected separatists in Jammu and Kashmir.

All nationalists in Jammu and Kashmir should strive for the development of the state, he added.

Harassment

He accused MLC Gayatri Shante Gowda of harassing farmers in Nagarahalli village.
Farmers belonging to backward class were carrying out protests to save gomala land. They were arrested after lodging false cases against them.
The MLA further said that the BJP will support the protest by farmers opposing atrocity on farmers, on December 25. The victim farmers will be taken to the Chief Minister to resolve the matter.  

“The police have harassed innocents, by targeting a particular group in Aldur. And now, the farmers are exploited by the forest department officials,” he said.
Zilla Panchayat President Bhagya Ranganath, BJP State Vice President Rekha Huliyappa Gowda, leaders H D Thammaiah, Varasiddhi Venugopal and others were present.
