Elaborate security arrangements in place at Tirupati

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has made elaborate security and barricading arrangements to prevent untoward incidents on the temple premises due to expected heavy turnout of pilgrims atop the Tirumala hills for Vaikunta Ekadasi and New Year on Thursday.

Tirupati JEO Pola Bhaskar on Tuesday inspected the arrangements made by the TTD in connection with the big religious occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi and New Year in the Lord Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram.

After the inspection, he said the TTD has made some special vehicular parking arrangements and queue lines to avoid traffic congestion and inconvenience to visiting pilgrims.

The JEO said so far the brahmtosavams of Kapileshwara Swamy temple have been smooth and urged pilgrims to maintain the same discipline.
