Aamir's 'PK' movie strikes gold at Pakistan box office

Bollywood star Aamir Khan's 'PK' movie has stuck gold in Pakistan box office even as it is giving domestic movies a run for their money.

The film is expected to beat the box office record of 'Waar', which was last year's hightest-grossing film in Pakistan with the total collection of Rs 22 crore.

"PK has made over Rs18 crore in Pakistan and continues to attract movie-goers. It will be in cinemas until the end of January so I'm sure it will make a lot more," Marketing Manager from Distributor Club (PVT) Ltd Hassaan Rizvi told Dawn.com.

'PK' has been making headlines ever since the first look of the film was relased. The film, despite reeling under several controverioes owing to its central theme, has been making a record business in India as well as aborad.

According to  Koimoi.com, PK has grossed a whopping Rs 601 crore worldwide.
